THE SYNTHESIS OF PLANT GROWTH STIMULATORS BY PHYTOPATHOGENIC BACTERIA AS FACTOR OF PATHOGENICITY

2018

The environmental changes significantly influence the microorganisms and affect their properties, leading them to take uncharacteristic ecological niches. This study has focused on the ability of phytopathogenic bacteria that belongs to the genera Pseudomonas, Curtobacterium, Ralstonia, Pantoea and Xanthomonas, which are able to cause various diseases of legumes, to produce extracellular phytohormones with stimulatory action in vitro. The qualitative and quantitative composition of extracellular auxins and cytokinins has been determined by spectrodensitometric thinlayer chromatography. This research revealed that the synthesis of plant growth promoting phytohormones that are agents of diffe…

The Impact of Biopreparations and Phytopathogenic Bacteria of the Pseudomonas Genus on L-Phenylalanine Ammonia-Lyase Activity in Soybean and Lupine P…

2020

It is known that plant protection against diseases is based mainly on the use of pesticides. These chemicals or their degradation products have a detrimental effect on the environment and human health. Due to this, the search for methods of plant protection that are safe for the environment is becoming increasingly popular. Induction of plant resistance to disease is one of the promising non-chemical ways of protection, in which plant enzymes play a key role. It was shown that in response to pathogen invasion, plants enhance protective properties by inducing the activity of a wide range of enzymes that slow the spread of infection, in particular: peroxidases, β-1,3-glucanases, chitinases, p…

Specifics of pesticides effects on the phytopathogenic bacteria

2016

The data concerning the effects of pesticides of different nature on the phytopathogenic bacteria was examined and summarized. Without extensive research on the mechanisms of interaction between pathogenic bacteria and pesticides in the literature review a similar message about microorganisms of soil and phyllosphere are included. The bacteria can be suppressed permanently by pesticides with a mechanism of action that universally affects biological processes in living systems. Long-term storage, ease of use and fast visible effect are the ad vantages of synthetic pest ic ides remed ies. But chemica l po llution, shifts in the ba lance of ecosystems, unpredictable effects of chemical pestici…

Bacterial diseases of energy plants

2017

Przedstawiono wyniki badań bakteryjnych patogenów bioenergetycznych roślin drzewiastych (topoli, brzozy), prowadzących do znacznego zmniejszenia zbiorów lub zaginięcia. Opisano różne choroby bakteryjne i patogeny zaznaczonych roślin, objawy tych chorób, charakterystykê obrażeń, rozmieszczenie i szkodliwość patogenów. Przedstawiono charakterystykê głównych chorób bakteryjnych (rak bakteryjny i martwicę bakteryjną kory) oraz mniej niebezpiecznych (mokradła), zarazy bakteryjne, choroby korzeni i gruźlica). Czynnikiem sprawczym bakteryjnego raku jest bakteria Xanthomonas populi (syn. Aplanobacterium populi). Jako towarzysząca mikroflora czynników wywołujących raka przeważają bakterie z rodzaju …
